2021-11-29 Operating US business

Operating a business in United States requires certain amount of best practise. Employees do try different tricks and it just takes energy out of enterprise. The most surprised I am by a lack of alignment between an interest. I did arrive to US with expectations of US people being pro-business. Law setup a way encouraging employees to be on their best and them motivated to be their best. Focus on short term, medium term and long term goals. I was just expecting more.

In the end it is more of discussin of main principles. Overcoming "no, I can not do it", spending time on proving it is possible and listening to people more than I thought would be necessary. I am always happy to share some quality time and to know what is happening in their lives. It matters to me.

Just short term maximizing of their income and trying to cut corners. This is a suprise. If I get today what I meed and tomorrow - we will see. Taking advantage of the work instead of enormous resources we have. Builing on trust we have got from customers and working hard to get more trust.

Lets spend more time to get what is normal for US employees. What do they expect and how to make sure they are understanding long term goals and shortcuts do not pay off. Energy needed to make it happen :)
